sidewalk hope, and busy streets.

Change runs deep.

Persistent palettes, well-worn easels,

outside lines, inward mazes,

cobalt blue ceramic glazes.

Behind the wheel, under starry nights,

through colorful lights

and radio sounds;

windows down, another round.
